For the past 16 years, we have been providing Road Transport, Passenger Transport and Commercial sectors with support, advice and guidance through our Consultancy, Training and Technical expertise.
We can provide our services remotely, at your premises, or from any of our locations across UK and Ireland.
Behind the name:
Previously known as Transport Compliance & Technical Specialists, founder and Managing Director Stephen Smyth GDipEng MIRTE MSOE Eng.Inst. A.E.A. MIAATI, MIoD - created the company drawing on his 25 years experience in the specialist fields of:
Automotive Engineering, Vehicle Examination, Collision Investigation, Accident Investigation, Transport Management, Transport Enforcement, Special Investigations, Examination & Assessment, Driving, Logistics, Lecturing and Training.
Stephen is internationally recognized within these sectors as a Road Safety Practitioner and came to connect his expertise to form TCTS Group Ltd. Previously operating as individual businesses, Stephen connected these together into divisions within TCTS Group Ltd to now provide full compliance support in all areas within the transport & commercial sectors.
With the passion and drive Stephen has towards Road Safety & Education, he strives to ensure close continuous working relationships with Transport Operators, Transport Regulators and Government Agencies to ensure our client’s full compliance with Operator Licence and Health & Safety requirements. This has lead to rapid growth and expansion of the TCTS Group.

Stephen is a highly experienced, passionate and qualified transport professional with an extensive and impressive background in senior roles such as:
Transport Enforcement Officer (DVA/VOSA Officer)
10 years as an Investigator & Examiner in covert special Investigations within the Transport & Vehicle Crime Unit.
19 years experience in conducting mechanical and electronic diagnostic fault finding & repairs to all vehicle types.
Government Vehicle Examiner for the DVA, Department of the Environment and DFI.
Expert Post Collision Examination, Collision Reconstruction, Tachograph Fraud/Manipulation and Senior Investigator concerning company’s negligence to Road Death cases.
15 years Senior Trainer and Head Training Officer/Assessor.
Stephen’s expertise provides TCTS Group Ltd & TCTS Ireland with a solid foundation to help, assist and protect transport operators and your business.
